Schezwan Chicken Wrap

Schezwan Chicken Wrap

Wraps and rolls are my personal favorite. It is something which is convenient to have and a complete meal in itself and one can have on the go. The another thing which I like most about wraps is that there is no fixed rules or recipe to make a wrap. It is totally upon your liking, taste, and availability of the ingredients. Prepare a fulfilling stuffing and wrap it up ! I keep experimenting with the stuffing part and want to share one such successful attempt. I have shared the recipe of another version of chicken wrap earlier on the blog. I had some schezwan sauce available with me, so thought of using it this time in my wrap and since I added beetroot, it turned out to be really colorful and delicious. Do give it a try

Chicken Momos Recipe/ Chicken Dumplings or Wontons

Who doesn’t love piping hot Momos or Dumplings or Wontons served with fiery schezwan sauce or spicy tomato garlic chutney? Momos is one of my favorite street food and I crave for it often. You can find many street food vendors in Delhi or Mumbai also selling these steaming hot beauties. Every new place has a unique taste and there are so many variations now available like tandoori momos, fried momos, etc. I prefer the steamed version as it is more healthy compared to the fried ones. My recipe is inspired by the chicken momos recipe by Sanjeev Kapoor but I have modified it a bit by adding whole wheat flour to avoid the all purpose flour. So, follow this chicken momos recipe step by step and make your family and loved ones happy with these Nepali delicacies.

Chicken Seekh Kebab on Tawa/Pan

Chicken Seekh Kebab on Tawa/Pan

I am a big fan of Chicken kebabs, be it Chicken tikkas, Seekh kebabs or Galouti kebabs. I have made various versions of chicken tikkas at home but never tried seekh kebabs as they require grill/tandoor to make. When I came across the recipe of seekh kebab on tawa without an oven, which was very easy to make and the kebabs made very succulent and tasty, I immediately decided to give it a try. You can also try this recipe which requires and let me know how it turned out to be. It takes lesser time to make as no marinate is required, you just have to combine the chicken with ginger-garlic paste, onions and spices.

Chicken Hung Curd Salad

Salads preparation are something which has “no fix rules” defined. Innovation and experimenting with the ingredients can create differently, yet amazing salads recipes. Salad being an important part of the meal has gathered attentions these days as people becoming more health conscious ( including me, of course,:P). Routine food and salad can be boring, so you can always make changes and create delicious salads which you and your family can relish. The ‘hung curd’ is one of the best things I came across recently and I am totally in love with it. Hung curd is a great substitute for Mayo or any other creamy dressing. This hung curd chicken salad is a complete meal in itself. Loaded with protein, good fibers, and very less fat. There are no fixed ingredients for this salad, check your refrigerator and toss as many veggies as you want. The creamy texture of salad what we have in restaurants use Mayo which is definitely not healthy especially for weight watchers. So, this hung curd comes to rescue which allows you to have the desired creamy texture, the veggies give a crunch to it at the same time its healthy.
